Artificial Neural Networks

This course will cover basics of neural network architectures both feedforward and feedback. Learning algorithms for each architecture will be discussed along with convergence analysis. Simple examples through MATLAB simulations will be demonstrated. Students will be given regular home assignments. There will be test on both MATLAB assignments as well as course contents. Students can study other programming languages such as Python and R. At the end of this course, students will be able to write their own codes and will be able to derive data driven models using neural networks. Many examples from Language, images and speech will be used to educate students in this subject.
