National Institutional Accreditation
The School of Information Technology and Computer Science is institutional nationally accredited from The National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education “NAQAAE”, a governmental body was established to enhance the quality of education in Egypt.
International Institutional Accreditation (in progress)
The Biomedical Informatics (BMI) Program is in the process of preparing to apply to international accreditation from Accreditation Board for Computing “ABET”, under the commission’s General Criteria and Program Criteria for Computing programs and similarly named program in August 2025.
Testimonials

My time at the BMD program at Nile University contributed a lot to where I am now. The interdisciplinary design of the courses has taught me invaluable skills that can be used and applied in any field. The skills and fundamental knowledge I learned during my bachelor’s is what helped me adapt and learn and even overachieve at a new and difficult field like neuroscience.

PhD Candidate of The University of Tennessee, Knoxville

BMD was an excellent headstart opportunity to become acclimated with researching in interdisciplinary fields. The potential of combining computational skills with scientific reasoning and biomedical domain knowledge is massive, but most students don’t properly straddle between the two until they commence postgraduate studies. Thanks to my BMD degree, I was comfortable enough with combining programming, data science, machine learning, statistics, and already had the scientific foundation necessary to self-learn crystallography and particle informatics.

The BMD program wasn’t just a specialization—it was the spark that set everything in motion for me. It gave me exposure to machine learning, data analytics, and real-world biomedical applications, which made my transition into graduate-level studies much smoother. It also taught me how to think critically and explore problems from a research perspective, which has been incredibly valuable in my journey so far

No matter where you come from, no matter your past, no matter your obstacles in front of you, you're able to do anything in this life, as long as you believe in yourself, That’s what Nile University did for me. Nile University gave me more than just an education, it gave me a foundation, a family, and a place to grow. As I now pursue my master’s degree in the U.S., I look back with gratitude and pride. Those days at Nile University will always be some of the best in my life
