Dr. Nashwa Abdel Baki Awarded with the School of Information Technology and Computer Science 2021 Trophy

The trophy of the school of Information Technology and Computer Science for 2021 went to Dr. Nashwa Abdel Baki for her long service in teaching, research, and program directorship. Congratulations to Dr. Nashwa Abdel Baki. Dr. Nashwa Abdelbaki is an early Internet pioneer, bringing Internet connectivity to Egypt in the late 80s and early 1990s.

She helped to build Egypt's national networks both locally and regionally. She took the technical lead of the Egyptian Universities Network (EUN) and the central registry of the Egyptian Top-Level Domain.
