About Artificial Intelligence
Mission
The artificial Intelligence program aims to prepare generations of distinguished specialists in the field of artificial intelligence and its subfields such as Machine Learning and its applications in computer vision and pattern recognition and smart information systems in health and transportation as well as natural language processing systems, recommendation systems and smart cities. The program will provide a distinct educational level for students by establishing strong research programs to keep pace with the continuous and rapid development in this field while promoting a close partnership with the local and international industry. This will contribute to the development of that industry and specialized computing services for the industrial community in Egypt and abroad. In achieving its mission, the program is committed to continuous improvement in the overall quality of teaching and scientific and academic research. The program also bears the responsibility of participating in scientific and technological progress in the field of Artificial Intelligence by providing the theoretical, practical, and technical basis for students to allow them to practice professional work. This work was in the industrial community or in the academic field or in research and development and research centers, whether in industrial facilities.
Description
Artificial Intelligence is intelligence demonstrated by machines that mimic cognitive functions which are associated with the human mind, such as learning and problem-solving. The Program at Nile University provides students with a breadth of knowledge across the subject areas of Artificial Intelligence and builds their ability to apply machine intelligence theory, abstraction, design, and implementation to solve real-life problems in the discipline. Additionally, the program will provide a solid foundation for students in the fields of Computer Science, its branches, and Informatics.
The program has a strong lab-based learning emphasis and culminates in capstone projects with the aim to design and implement practical Artificial Intelligence and Robotics systems that meet the scientific, technological, and administrative needs of business and industry in a global economy.
